In 2001 Team carried out a survey of teachers in schools around the country where Team programmes had previously toured. Due to a significant drop in funding that year, Team were unable to tour outside Dublin, and instead a report was produced by Team's Education Officer, Muireann Ahern to determine how vital teachers considered Team's work to their student's education and appreciation of the arts.

Some of the highlights from that Report:

"Since 1979, a visit by TEAM has always been a highlight of our school year. TEAM has always presented our students with an exhilarating, deeply enriching experience in drama on a level not otherwise enjoyed by our students."

"It integrates school with what is going on in the outside world."

"More urgent for schools is access to the 'TEAM Experience' - drama written for an age-specific audience, with which ordinary kids can engage. While the alternatives - Hollywood, soaps etc are not rubbish, TEAM works differently."

"A TEAM programme guarantees high standards, both artisically and from an education perspective."

On Workshops:

"I couldn't praise the entire team enough. The pupils loved every second and would adore more. As I wrote earlier their only complaint was that the workshops were too short for them. One particular pupil was 'unreachable' before, but totally engaged with the workshops in particular. It was her first positive experience in school - I've never seen her participate/smile before yet the effects have lasted - she's a changed person. She was good at the workshops and the effect of finding something she can succeed at spilled over into everything else."

"I thought the play was brilliant, the actors fantastic and the workshop…well, nobody does this kind of thing with such work, effort and commitment. It was great to see such interaction and such brilliant articulate transition years. BRILLIANT!

"The complexities of decision making were highlighted very clearly."

"Absolutely spot on - the students came out buzzing, as did the parents. Timing of it having it immediately after was terrific."

"One of the best elements. Students were animated and involved and discussions lasted long after TEAM departed - an unusual experience for them."
